LANDFILL DESIGN AND PERMITTING
BECI has managed the design and permitting activities for a number of solid waste management facilities. These projects required intimate working knowledge of Federal RCRA and New York State NYCRR Part 360 and 373 requirements as well as routine contact with Department of Environmental Conservation Headquarters and Regional Offices. BECI regulatory compliance specialists work closely with project managers and engineers to insure compliance with Federal, State, and Local requirements. Numerous meetings were held with regulatory agencies during the permitting process to obtain resolution of issues, which arise during the process, and to maintain project schedules. Our capabilities include the development of proposals from initial conceptual design to permit application, scooping, and the preparation of draft and final environmental impact statements.
